Tale as old as time.... well, around the 19th century actually. Modern perfumery began and thus began a love affair for fragrance. At the boutique we too are in love, but a different kind. We are passionate about scent down to the last drop of essential oil, but a firm believer in individuality.

With the strong client interest in our custom scent blending, and parties taking off, the Haute Parfumerie inside the Eleanor Jean Boutique has been quite the hit. Unique, (and rare to find anymore anywhere) a place to smell, experiment with different scents, and blend your own custom fragrance, So see, you don't have to be a celebrity to have your own fragrance and you certainly do not have to smell like the inside of your latest Cosmo or Glamour Magazine. Though, no offense to Chanel No. 5 and the rest of the classics they have their place in this world, but why not have your very own and go a step further by blending it into a Sugar Scrub, Luxurious Shower Gel, Creamy Milk Bubble Bath, or a moisturizing Whipped Body Frosting. Select from endless essential oils and various bottles and sizes to display your new fragrance in. With top notch parfumists ask anyone in the boutique to help you blend and give you their expert opinion. 
The power of fragrance is much deeper than just smelling nice on a date, we all remember what our mothers and even fathers smelled like growing up, or even our grandmothers, [Eleanor Jean]. Remember that several charities worldwide are participating and on the first of each month a charity will be drawn and celebrities/public figures will be invited into Eleanor Jean Boutique to create and premier their scent. 50% of sales of the scent are donated to charity for that month.

Eleanor Jean Haute Beauty Boutique is flattered with the love that has been shown since our launch event in April and now EJ is holding another event to benefit charities worldwide! Hang on to your hair accessories this is a big one! 

On Friday July 1, 2011 at 1pm. Eleanor Jean Haute Beauty Boutique will be hosting            

"A Scent For Humanity" 

A charity trend created by Eleanor Jean. Celebrities will be invited into the boutique on the first day of each month. After 
the celebrity draws the charity he or she will celebrate by creating the perfect scent from Eleanor Jean's unique and very popular signature Scent Room. After the drawing each time the celebrity scent is sold Eleanor Jean will donate 50% of the sales to benefit the selected monthly charity. The event will give all charities a chance to participate as well as creating scents for each celebrity. Join Eleanor Jean Haute Beauty Boutique and Singer, Lily Elise from the popular NBC television show THE VOICE among many other special guests at our Pink Carpet Launch of "A Scent For Humanity" located at our home in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd. Guests will take home complimentary gift bags and enjoy treats and desserts from Dough A Deer and Food Should Taste Good etc.  Could one event get any better? Tip #1: Create a Fragrance Wardrobe - Create a unique scent in our Scent Room with a Pro Perfumer and add it to a Whipped Body Frosting and a Pure Perfume Oil. After Showering apply the lotion and then the perfume oil. Layering the products can make the fragrance stronger and last longer. 
Tip #2: Avoid rubbing your perfume from one wrist to another. This little habit can bruise the delicate notes and can change the scents. Instead fragrance should be applied to your pulse points. Apply behind ears, collarbone, decollete, bends of elbows, navel and wrists and also behind the knees and ankles.

Tip #3: For Home, spray or dab fragrance on light bulbs prior to turning them on. When the bulb warms up the scent is diffused through the room. Also try using linen spray for your bed sheets to create a mood, or the base of your drapes for a subtle fragrance throughout the home.
