Tina V'lanomelle

For all of you that have already had the pleasure of getting perfect pedicures or killer polished manis from this dame you already know how talented and wonderful Tina really is! For those Haute Beauties that have not well you soon will. 

The L.A. native exudes beauty. She lives and breathes everything that Eleanor Jean is. No really, she often flaunts EJ signature pink in her hair. Aside from her oh-so-chic style she is one talented woman and we are lucky to have her as part of the Eleanor Jean staff. 

With several years under her belt in the beauty industry and with Eleanor Jean since day 1, she really is a creative genius. Doodling amazing sketches in her spare time, experimenting with makeup and trying new looks on herself and others. Even dabbling in photography. Tina takes everything to a new beautiful level, and if you have not had her create amazing art on your nails well waste no more time! Make an appointment ASAP or you could ask some of her celeb clientele including the stylish and cute Vanessa Hudgens. A sort of jack of all beauty. This gal does it all from simple hairstyles to fierce makeup applications, gel nails, mani/pedis, and lash extensions all inside the Eleanor Jean Boutique.

Ventura Blvd Magazine Hosts....

Girls Night Out on the Blvd

Ventura Blvd Magazine brings you everything you need to know about the blvd and everywhere you must visit, eat, shop, or see in the valley. 

Thursday November 10th EJ will be attending the Ventura Blvd Magazine Girls Night Out Fashion Show at Chi Dynasty a yummy eatery in Studio City. 150 of our fellow stylish and fabulous women in the valley will also be in company. To kick the event off Chi Dynasty will be serving up cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. As the mingling and party continues upstairs the Fashion Show will begin showcasing these participating retailers: 

Billy's Tarzana, Jane's Tarzana, Indexx NoHo, Soto, yours truly Eleanor Jean Boutique, also our favorite neighbors Belle Gray and more.

Eleanor Jean will be on site doing makeup for the models of the fashion show behind the scenes. During the show it's your chance to view our newest collection of lounge wear and pajamas available at the boutique. Here's the best part... in the final hour of the show the clothing and outfits seen will be available for purchase at 15% OFF. Visit the rack of the pieces you loved and try them on and take them home with you. This will only be valid the night of the event. 10% of proceeds will be donated to weSPARK in Sherman Oaks which provides cancer support services for families.

National Boss Day

Trick or Treat

The icon of this season? You know it, PUMPKIN!  So handy in so many ways and even for beauty! Trick: This season try a lip gloss in a soft orange hue like the celeb favorite from Girlactik in Orange Twist, or Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in Tipsy a coral type color that is sure to flatter any skin tone. (not to brag but this blush was Allure's Best Blush of 2011) 

Pumpkin is rich in Vitamin A, C, beta-carotene, and Zinc so it is soothing and moisturizing. It's especially wonderful for sensitive skin or environmentally sensitized skin, but is beneficial for all skin types. 

Prep your skin before the makeup for best results with none other than a DIY pumpkin mask:

Pumpkin Pie Face Mask

              2 teaspoons cooked or canned pumpkin puree 

one-half teaspoon honey

one-quarter teaspoon milk (or soymilk) (alpha hydroxyl acid, enzymes digest dead skin cells)

or for Oily Skin add one-quarter teaspoon apple cider or cranberry juice
